Btw, today I did a blog challenge.  I did 5 blog posts. This finishes up the challenge with a bonus post that links the elegantkbdesign.com with my tumblr blog.  The Virtual Online Learning members have fun with a monthly challenge. It's great motivation and sharing with other bloggers is inspiring.

KB's Good Cup of Coffee

I have a new coffee routine.  I've traded in the old Mr Coffee maker for a greener alternative.  I start with coarse ground, fair trade coffee from the bulk bins. I plug my electric tea kettle in my solar powered kitchen.  I am amazed at how quickly the water heats up to the perfect temperature for the coffee press - 200 degrees.  I put the coffee in the press, then the water and give it a quick stir. After 4 minutes I plunge and pour!  Later, the coffee grounds will go right into the compost.  My cup of coffee tastes so much better than the old coffee maker. Thanks to my facebook friends for your suggestions! I love to relax and enjoy my coffee break.
